Data is CITY: a project that maps a company’s digital environment like a town and protects it together with AI agents
Systems, data, permissions and outside connections all go into one “CITY”, shown as a 3D town. We work on it from two sides: open technology anyone can use, and a media outlet about security in the age of AI.

CITY: shows a digital environment in 3D, like a map of a town
It draws the IT environments of companies, local governments, schools, hospitals, shops and homes as towns. We will publish the common format and software so anyone can use them freely.
Data is CITY Media: reporting from the front line of cyberattack and defense in the age of AI
Through interviews with experts, experiment videos and slides you can use in class, we give executives, teachers, students and everyone in between material to think about security from where they stand.
How it works
AI agents redraw the CITY every day, and people make the decisions on top of it
Cloud, code, business tools, domains, accounts and permissions. AI agents reread the settings and registers to keep the CITY up to date. A newly opened entrance to the outside, or permissions left behind by someone who has left, show up in the town the same day. From the same CITY you can write out material for decisions for management, procedures for the people on the ground, and the scope of impact for business partners.
Our CITY
Since August 2026, Teleport has been running its own company as a CITY
The AI agents’ inventory turned up unused public entrances, permissions still held by people who had left, and notification routes that reached no one. We closed them one by one, recording why.
Film
The first film: “Protecting a company with people and AI agents” (8 min 40 s, in Japanese)
At 11 p.m. on October 21, 2026, fixes for critical PHP vulnerabilities were released, and banks and online shops alike shut down their services. Starting from that night, the film follows how AI has changed attacks and the work of defenders, in 13 scenes with sources. Narrated by Gaku Noguchi.
